Number roka'at Tarawih Prayer

Number rokaat tarawih prayer is 11 (eleven) rokaat.
It is based on history of 'Aisha radhiallahu' anha when asked about the prayer Prophet 'alayhi wa sallam Ramadlon month, he said:

ما كان يزيد في رمضان ولا في غيره على إحدى عشرة ركعة (رواه البخاري; مسلم)

"He did not pray more than eleven months Ramadlon rokaat either in or in others" (Narrated by Bukhari no. 1147; Muslim, no. 125).

If prayers tarawih thirteen rokaat also not why, based on the saying of Ibn Abbas radhiallahu 'anhuma, he said: "Prayer shlallahu Rasulullah' alaihi wa sallam was thirteen rokaat", ie the night prayer.
This is narrated by Bukhari in Shahihnya no. 1137; Muslims in Shahihnya no. 764.

Number eleven rokaat tarawih prayer is clearly evident sourced from Ibn 'Umar radhiallahu' anhuma as contained in the Al-Muwaththo 'with sanad (= street) is the most authentic.

If prayer tarawih done more than that then do not why, it is based on the words of the Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa sallam when asked about night prayer, he said: "Prayer of the night, two rokaat, two rokaat". And his peace and blessings of Allaah be upon not limiting.

History of the Salaf regarding the number rokaat tarawih prayer manifold. But more importantly is to suffice with that done by the Prophet 'alayhi wa sallam, which is eleven rokaat.

And there is no authentic history which states that Prophet 'alayhi wa sallam and the Khilafat Ar-Rosyidin to pray as much as 23 rokaat tarawih. Even the clear history of Ibn 'Umar radhiallahu' anhuma that the Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa sallam rokaat 11 prayer night. Where he ordered the 'Ubai ibn Ka'b and Tamim Ad-From human to lead with 11 rokaat.

This is history right, that what he did is what is also done by the Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa sallam.

And we do not know any friend who did it exceed 23 rokaat, even those that seem not so.

Recognize that differences of opinion about the number rokaat tarawih prayer and others who did it open the door of ijtihad, then no door to seyogyannya be broken to pieces among the ummah
